About me
My name is Borozan Vadim, I was born in Moldova and now live and work in Iași, Romania. My artistic journey began at the age of 5, when my parents noticed my passion for drawing. At 12, they encouraged me to attend art school in my hometown, where I studied for 5 years. Later, I continued at the College of Arts with a focus on Architecture, and eventually graduated from the University of Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts, specializing in Graphics.
Throughout my career I explored various artistic directions – landscapes, still life, abstractions, even tattoos – but nothing captivated me as much as portraiture. I chose to dedicate myself especially to children’s portraits because I believe that every child deserves to have a portrait of their childhood. A child’s portrait is the tangible embodiment of childhood itself – a memory you can touch and revisit whenever you need it.
For me, each drawing is more than a commission – it is part of my life’s mission, a calling I feel entrusted with by God. My goal is for every client to feel that they are acquiring something truly unique, the kind of treasure one buys only once in a lifetime. My portraits are not just artworks, but monuments of memory, preserving the fleeting essence of childhood for generations to come.
I work with premium Fabriano paper, Faber-Castell graphite pencils, and every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity embossed with a golden seal, as a sign of my respect and commitment to my art. Each client also receives a video of the entire drawing process, as well as an elegant frame, premium packaging, and worldwide delivery included.
My vision is to spread the belief that every child in the world should have a portrait, just as every person has an identity card. In the future, I aim to dedicate a percentage of my commissions to supporting children’s art education, helping new generations discover the beauty of creativity.
In 5 years, I see myself as the leading promoter of children’s portraits in Europe – bringing this unique form of art into as many homes as possible, and transforming photographs into timeless works of art.
